Chamber Mix
ChamberMix is an alliance of musicians dedicated to performance of contemporary chamber music. Formed originally in 2002 as Trio Moderne, ChamberMix cultivates relationships with living composers, showcasing new compositions alongside well-known works in the repertory. Their concerts have featured premieres of commissioned works by Eric Lindsay and James Sproul, world premieres by John Bilotta and Martha Stoddard, and the west coast premiere of Hilary Tann’s The Gardens of Anna Maria Luisa de'Medici. Recent performances include the San Francisco Wind Festival in 2006 and 2007, Trinity Chamber Concert Series, Stanford University New Music Concert,the San Francisco Community Music Center, 2007 Irregular Resolutions Annual Composer’s Concert, and the Messiah Lutheran Church Concert Series in Redwood City. In 2006 ChamberMix served as in Artists-in -Residence at Lick-Wilmerding High School in San Francisco and in 2004 they were guest artists of the Stockton Branch of the California Music Teachers’ Association.
